Belgacom Sets up eLearning at University Clinics

Brussels (BE), June 2007 - Personnel of the University Clinics Saint-Luc are using eLearning as a new tool for training. They are now able to profit from continuous training in fields as varied as the reception of new patients, hospital hygiene, and the management of the pain. The contents of these modules were developed within the institution by professionals working in these fields.

The installation of these eLearning modules was made possible thanks to a partnership with the Belgacom group via its Telindus-Belgacom-ICT subsidiary. Telindus-Belgacom-ICT was responsible for the overall solution management and the lodging of the technical platform that gives access to the various training modules. This project is part of the eHealth strategy developed by the Belgacom Group that aims at developing innovative training solutions for the healthcare industry.
