IMC builds up eLearning infrastructure in South Caucasus

Saarbrücken, October 2005 – IMC AG, a European provider of advanced learning management solutions, has won a contract for an extensive development aid project in the South Caucasus. In cooperation with partners IDS Scheer AG (Saarbrücken, Germany) and IDS Scheer (Moscow, Russia), IMC AG will be setting up learning production environments and creating operational online universities in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. LAMS: global community website for teachers and developers

Sydney, October 2005 – The LAMS Foundation has launched the LAMS Community, a global community website for teachers and developers who use the revolutionary open source LAMS software. LAMS creates "digital lesson plans" that can be run online with students as well as shared among teachers. The LAMS Community allows teachers to share and adapt digital lesson plans and discuss their experiences of using LAMS. [more...]



Test administration for Norwegian certifications

London, October 2005 – The Norwegian testing services organization Datakortet has engaged testing and assessment software provider Questionmark to provide a test center administration for use at some 400 test centers in the country. Datakortet administers many exams in Norway including the European Computer Driving License (ECDL) exam, which tests basic computer skills. [more...]

In 2006 there will also be several smaller Megaconference Jr. Mini-Forums that will give students the opportunity to actively participate in additional interactive sessions prior to the main Megaconference Jr. event.
