No - this headline does not refer to The Learning Awards, a glittering
evening held to honour those in the learning world, which was held at the
Dorchester Hotel in London in February and attracted the corporate
learning world’s great, good and glitzy. These were the first annual
Learning Awards but, oddly enough, they were also the 16th annual awards.
The previous 15 events had been held under the auspices of the Institute
of IT Training which, last year, morphed into the more ubiquitous,
charismatic and, frankly, relevant Learning and Performance Institute.
