Unicorn Announces Unique Regulatory Meetings Training
London (UK), June 2018 - Adding to an already market-leading portfolio of learning solutions for the financial services and associated industries, Unicorn has unveiled its latest unique offering in the form of regulatory meetings training.
Developed in partnership with industry experts Metidian, the learning is aimed at improving firms’ preparation for important regulatory visits, giving staff the chance to participate in mock interviews and make mistakes in an interactive, but crucially risk-free environment.
Metidian was founded in 2017 by Lydia Bailey after an extensive career in financial services regulation. As the regulator at a number of major firms, she has been involved in many thousands of regulatory meetings from the perspective of interviewer, interviewee, and one who prepares others.
Lydia explains, "Firms and individuals often fail to come over effectively in regulatory visits and meetings. Staff shouldn’t just be expected to cope without appropriate training. The challenge is that the best way to acquire the right skills and understanding is through seeing, experiencing, and participating in meetings - then getting feedback and guidance. Partnering with Unicorn has enabled us bring this into an online training environment in a way that is very immediate and compelling."
