Learning Transfer and Learning Impact
London (UK), October 2018 - People Alchemy is back at World of Learning Exhibition and Conference in Birmingham, 16-17 October, to launch Paul Matthew's "Learning Transfer at Work" book; take part in seminars about learning impact and performance; and update the market on People Alchemy's latest developments to its digital learning platforms.
People Alchemy's online platforms have developed and now manage Apprenticeship as well as CMI Qualification journeys. The off-the-shelf management learning pathways have a new addition: The Aspiring Talent pathway finds and prepares employees ready for promotion.
Paul Matthews' brand-new book "Learning Transfer at Work: How to Ensure Training >> Performance" is due to be published just in time for World of Learning and is available at £10, or all three of his books for £20.
On Tuesday at 14.00, Paul will be joined by Dr. Ina Weinbauer-Heidel from the Institute for Transfer Effectiveness to discuss "The Key Ingredients for Learning Impact".
Paul said about the conference session, "It's essential to get any value out of training, and you can do it now that there is a thoroughly researched approach that has identified the twelve levers of learning transfer. I very much look forward to helping demystify and expose what is often an ignored elephant in the training room. World of Learning is one of the highlights for learning and development in the year, especially for exposing persistent elephants, and I wouldn't miss it."
On Wednesday at 12.00, Paul will be running a free seminar called "Performance Consultancy unplugged" in Theatre 2. L&D can save money by understanding the role of performance consultancy and making sure they don't make the common mistake of confusing it with learning consultancy. Attendees can find out how to make sure that L&D is working on (and spending money on) the right stuff, save money, and get better results.
Paul's session usually is standing room only, so visitors are encouraged to arrive early to get a seat.
People Alchemy is exhibiting at World of Learning on stand D10.
