30th ICDE Conference - in Wellington, New Zealand

Oslo (NO), August 2024 - The next ICDE World Conference - the 30th edition - will take place in Wellington, New Zealand, 10-13 November 2025. The event will be hosted by Te Pukenga/Open Polytechnic and Massey University.

The event’s theme is Ako - Exchanging Ideas for Inclusive, Scalable, and Sustainable Education. The conference takes the Maori concept of "ako" (reciprocity in learning and teaching; the exchange of ideas) as its touchstone. The design of inclusive, scalable, and sustainable education is central to the futures of global higher education, a priority for practice around the globe.

The conference emphasises the 'ako' of reciprocal teaching and learning as it relates to improving educational inclusivity, scalability, and sustainability among all delegates.
