3Shape Selects NetDimensions Learning
Aalborg (DK), April 2015 - NetDimensions, a global provider of performance, knowledge, and learning-management systems, has announced that Copenhagen-based 3Shape, a leading provider of 3D scanners and CAD/CAM software for the dental and hearing-aid industries, has selected NetDimensions Learning to train its employees and resellers worldwide.
During the past ten years, 3Shape has grown rapidly, increasing distribution through resellers worldwide as well as its own employees based in Europe, the US, and Asia. With continuous and rapid product development cycles and services becoming increasingly global, 3Shape needed a learning-management system (LMS) that would enhance the distribution of training and information across the entire value chain.
Training at 3Shape has to be tailored to different cultures and delivered in multiple languages. The company required a flexible, multi-language LMS solution that could be adapted to the specific requirements of the different audiences and the preferences of the individual learners.
"Our goal is to continuously improve client satisfaction among our end users by securing competent and knowledgeable ambassadors wherever clients engage with 3Shape representatives and partners. High-quality service matters to our clients, and, ultimately, this combined with our high-quality products is how we grow and expand our organization globally," explained Marie Andersen, Head of Sales and Marketing Excellence at 3Shape.
After an extensive evaluation process and an initial list of twenty LMS solution providers, three vendors were shortlisted and invited to present their solutions to 3Shape’s project team. NetDimensions Learning was selected primarily because the NetDimensions team showed the best understanding of the business goals and specific needs of 3Shape, including the need to meet strict FDA regulations in the medical-device industry. The capability to adapt the system to 3Shape’s requirements was also critical.
"We were not just looking for a software provider, but a partner who would work with us to achieve the business goals behind the project. We felt that the NetDimensions team understood our challenges and are focused on finding the right solutions. We therefore decided that NetDimensions would be the best fit for the culture at 3Shape," added Andersen.
"With NetDimensions’ focus on highly regulated industries like life sciences, we are delighted that 3Shape has found NetDimensions Learning to be the right solution to help improve client satisfaction and grow their business globally. True to our commitment to the success of our clients, we are looking forward to working with 3Shape to enable them to execute on their innovative learning and knowledge management strategy," commented Mads Jensen, Nordic Sales Director at NetDimensions.
