Change in Management at TATA Interactive, Germany

Tübingen (GER), July 2012 - Saurabh Mittal will assume the position of Co-Managing Director of TATA Interactive Systems GmbH, joining Michael Johner at the top of the German operation. Mittal came to Tata Interactive Systems in 2004 and has handled responsibilities in multiple functional areas. Until recently he headed the global marketing and strategy function.




Prior to that he managed new business initiatives, has been the global head of two verticals, and led the team that built products in the domain of Performance Support Systems and Serious Games. He also helped TATA Interactive Systems in corporate planning and strategy and was involved in the acquisitions of two companies.

Saurabh Mittal holds a Bachelor of Science from St Stephen's, New Delhi and an MBA in Finance & Marketing from the Institute of Management Technology, India. He is also trained in the Malcolm Baldridge Quality Model and is a senior assessor in the TATA Group. As a leader of the assessment team, he has evaluated many companies of the TATA Group.

Mittal replaces Dr. Tobias Thomas, who has made the decision to resign, effective 31 July. Thomas joined TIS in 2000, and leadership the business has grown rapidly in recent years. The company thanks him for his huge commitment to the organization.
