ESC Lille Announces Partnership with Crossknowledge

Paris (FR), June 2007 - Leading French business school the Lille School of Management (ESC Lille) has teamed up with one of the European leaders in eLearning solutions, Crossknowledge, to provide students with a selection of online, remote distance-learning courses in business and management fundamentals. The courses will be available to all graduate and postgraduate students.

CrossKnowledge has developed a series of some 300 multimedia modules, each of which is thirty minutes in length and can be taken in either English or French. All of the modules include a built-in evaluation system that allows for measurement of student progress. Among the many courses on offer are Personal Development, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Project Management.

Commenting on the decision to incorporate remote learning into its curriculum, ESC Lille's Dean of Postgraduate Programmes, Professor Christophe Bredillet, explained, "Lille School of Management is evolving from a conventional 'bricks-and-mortar' business school to one that is 'click-and-mortar', providing students with a mix of face-to-face and online teaching methods."

The role of remote learning has taken on a particular importance for ESC Lille with the school's opening of a campus in Casablanca (Morocco) in 2003. There are also plans for an additional campus in the Gulf Region and various exchange and internship programmes with schools in Australia, Norway, and the United States.
