IMC in Partnership with Accelerate Performance
Saarbruecken (GER) / Johannesburg (ZA), June 2014 - Accelerate Performance, a leading South Africa-based learning-technology and performance company, and IMC AG, one of Europe's leading providers of learning, talent, and eLearning-content solutions, have announced their partnership to launch IMC's Business Process Guidance Suite into the South African market.
"Our aim is to provide companies in all sectors in South Africa with the most innovative support in improving their workplace skills. Our partnership with IMC will enable us to do exactly this", says Accelerate Performance’s Vice President of Learning Technology, Mark Chivere. He is excited by the potential for innovative learning technologies in South Africa and especially in the potential the Business Process Guidance Suite delivers.
IMC’s Business Process Guidance Suite works like a navigation system that leads users through complex business processes and software landscapes. It is a cost-effective and innovative answer to the problem of providing software-training support exactly when and where it is needed. "It goes beyond the standard delivery of online learning via learning management systems. South African organisations are open to new ideas, and so we see great potential for long-term growth for both our businesses", Chivere continues.
Accelerate Performance was founded in 2009 and has become a leading force in the delivery of learning and performance solutions to companies in South Africa, with key clients in the rest of Africa, too. Its consultancy services are supported by products including content production, learning and performance platform delivery, leadership development, and executive coaching.
Laureen Rwatirera, CEO of Accelerate Performance, states, "The Business Process Guidance Suite is a very effective tool for providing software training that is flexible, understandable, and permanently available. It delivers better training outcomes whilst saving money. Accelerate Performance and IMC share the same passion for innovation and forward thinking, so our partnership makes perfect sense."
IMC sees great potential for the partnership as well. "South Africa has an established economy with a workforce hungry to adopt technology-based initiatives in workplace education and software-skills improvements", explains Dr Dirk Thissen, Strategic Alliances Manager at IMC AG, in regard to the background to the partnership. "The South African market is important to IMC in its aim to build a truly worldwide customer base for its products and services", Thissen reasons.
