Netviewer Expands Audio Conference Offering
Karlsruhe (GER), September 2010 - Voice transmission is an integral part of all web conferences, webinars, and online support facilities. Netviewer, Europe's foremost provider of web collaboration solutions, has therefore not only incorporated free voice over IP functionality into its products, but also a professional audio-conference service.
Users in fifteen additional countries - from Greece to Brazil - will now be able to dial in at low-cost local rates. Netviewer now offers users dedicated dial-in codes in 29 countries, plus a dial-in number that can be accessed worldwide at a low US rate and a special dial-in service for Skype users.
As Jörg Mayer, CSO of Netviewer AG, explains, "Netviewer serves customers in more than 55 countries. Every year we host many millions of web-conferencing sessions worldwide, many of them involving users in different countries. We believe our customers will welcome the fifteen additional local dial-in codes for the easy-to-use audio conference service that is built into Netviewer. Netviewer is pleased to invest in traditional voice services in addition to its voice-over-IP service, which is being used to an increasing extent."
Netviewer enables internet users to share their screen display live so as to jointly edit texts, calculations, graphics, and other documents. Visual real-time communication over the internet enables businesses to reduce their travel times and costs, as well as to improve productivity. Moreover, users are actively contributing towards the protection of the climate and the natural environment.
