Reed Learning Focuses on Global Expansion
London (UK), April 2013 - London-based Reed Learning has adopted a strategy involving expansion of its business internationally to leverage opportunity for growth, particularly in emerging and other fast-growth markets.
Reed Learning has set its sights on emerging and fast-growing markets where economic conditions are stronger than in mature markets. At present, the EFGM landscape is dominated by Brazil, Russia, India, and China – but other rapidly developing markets, including Indonesia and Mexico, are catching up.
As a part of the significant growth that Reed Learning is experiencing in the UK, international clients are increasingly seeking access to the company's high-quality learning solutions outside the UK. This is coupled with a substantial demand for training in a number of emerging markets.
Reed Learning has appointed Keith Targett, Channel Manager, to take responsibility for the international growth strategy. Keith has significant industry and international experience and joins Reed Learning after a highly successful career in developing the channel for other training providers.
"It is very rewarding to be able to match the highly relevant, powerful capability that Reed Learning deploys in the UK with the clear demand for good-quality learning in the international market. I am already finding great interest from established, mature potential partners in territories such as the Middle East, South Africa, and Indonesia and am enjoying matching this interest with our ability to make a substantial contribution to learning in these and other markets", says Targett.
Reed Learning is a provider in the UK, delivering bespoke learning solutions for many major corporate organisations, including companies such as Sodexo, RBS, Zurich, the AA, Thames Water and Citrix. These learning solutions are built on a solid foundation of experience and expertise achieved by delivering over 250 courses to more than 100,000 learners in the last year.
"It is great to have Keith on board, and in the very short time that he has been working with us, we have forged some very interesting international partnerships," says Jon Buttriss, Director at Reed Learning.
