UKS partners with Cegos Group
Dubai (UAE), June 2009 - Universal Knowledge Solutions (UKS), a learning-solutions enabler based in the Middle East, has partnered with Cegos Group, a professional training provider, in an exclusive relationship to provide Global Learning by Cegos (GLC) and eLearning Solutions by Cegos (eLS) to the commercial and public sector organizations in the Middle East.
GLC programmes integrate in-class training, eLearning modules, start-and-end-point self-assessment, and an online learning-management system. At the heart of this integrated package is the Cegos eLearning solution, which offers off-the-shelf eLearning modules and fully customized options. Both of these can be used as standalone solutions or blended with face-to-face training, combining the advantages of both.
As the exclusive distributor of GLC and eLS in the Middle East, UKS will offer multilingual and Arabic eLearning modules and blended courses from Cegos in order to meet the needs of its customers. UKS aims to provide its customers with the training and development opportunities they need and deserve. With GLC and eLS, UKS will be able to deliver quality and flexible training to a wider audience.
"Our partnership with Cegos will allow us to leverage and balance the economic growth in the Gulf Cooperation Council by providing human development best practices", said Hadi Shaheen, UKS General Manager - EMEA. "Our new joint offerings in the field of operational consultancy and training delivery (online, face to face or blended) will empower the private and public sectors to boost performance in their market and adopt the changes they need to make in order to grow."
According to Jeremy Blain, Director of the International Partners Network of Cegos Group, "We are delighted to seal a partnership with the major player in the Middle Eastern learning and development sector. The Cegos Group, already present in 28 countries, is gradually developing its international presence. We will be one of the few major International companies offering leading-edge learning and development in the Arabic language."
