New Perception Features Now on Demand

London (UK), June 2010 - Questionmark has announced that the accessibility, security, mobile delivery, and other advantages of its Perception version 5 are now available to users of the company's On-Demand Assessment Management Solutions.

Whether using enterprise hosting or a subscription service, Questionmark's on-demand customers now have access to Perception's new auto-sensing and auto-sizing capabilities for delivering a single assessment to wikis, blogs, web pages, social networks, and portals, as well as to smart phones and other handhelds. Additional features include accessibility tools such as text sizing and contrast controls, a multilingual participant interface, multilingual user interfaces, expanded integration options, and greater scalability.

Questionmark's on-demand services make it easy to start an assessment program quickly and grow it as needed, without needing to purchase or maintain internal systems. The D3 Platform provides a trustworthy and scalable database, as well as extensive data-security measures including Safe Harbor Certification to ensure safe handling of sensitive data.

Tech Tip: Managing Multilingual Assessments

The Translation Management System (TMS), available as an add-on to Perception version 5, allows users to manage translations of questions, topics, and assessments whether translating on the fly within Perception's browser-based translation tool or exporting material via XLIFF for translation by a third-party application or vendor.

Once translated, the assessments remain connected to their base-language counterparts for efficient management of subsequent edits and reporting. This means you can have a single assessment, available in multiple languages, with all the results in a single results set, as opposed to having to create the same assessment multiple times for translation into multiple languages and consequently having dispersed results data.
