Top 10 Most Wished for LMS Features
London (UK), May 2012 - A crowd-sourcing project from corporate training provider REDTRAY has gathered opinions on an ideal learning management system from more than 175 L&D and HR professionals. The results have been published in the "LMSwishList".
Vicky Jones, Managing Director at REDTRAY, comments, "The cross-industry collaboration we've witnessed for the LMSwishList study exceeds anything we've seen in LMS research and development previously. Over the past weeks, learning experts from all parts of the corporate training industry have opted to share their views and insights with us in more detail than we ever thought possible."
The findings are now presented in an eBook available to anyone interested in the future of learning-management systems and other learning technologies.
Jones says, "The ebook doesn't only list the top ten features people most want; it also offers a breakdown of different sectors and their learning technology needs. It covers various industries' attitudes towards mobile learning and the cloud, and it discusses different views on the future of learning technologies."
The LMSwishList eBook examines topics including
- HR and L&D satisfaction rate with their current LMS
- views on mobile learning today and in the future
- cloud technology and the LMS
- the top ten most-wanted LMS features.
Jones concludes, "One of our objectives as a vendor of learning technologies was to create the most detailed report on the market's expectations for the next generation of LMS. We'll continue to add to this report over the coming months as the debate continues about the future of the learning industry."
