Caspian Learning Announces Serious Games Challenge
London (UK), March 2010 - Caspian Learning has announced a 30 Day Serious Games Challenge. The competition is free to enter and open to all aspiring instructional designers. Participants are provided free trial copies of the 3D engine and authoring tool Thinking Worlds.
The 30 Day Serious Games Challenge, the first of its kind, will be launched at the Game Based Learning Conference on 28 March 2010 from the Caspian "Experience Lounge" exhibition stand. The competition will pit instructional designers of all experience levels against each other to create the most innovative learning simulation using drag and drop Thinking Worlds technology.
The 30 Day Serious Games Challenge is open to both individuals and firms. Submissions may be made until 30 April, when Caspian Learning's design team will select a winner. The prize - a licensed copy of Thinking Worlds Standard, worth £3000 - will go to the designer (or team) that submits the most innovative 3D learning, training, or performance simulation.
To take part in the 30 Day Serious Games Challenge, participants need to download a free trial copy of Thinking Worlds from the Caspian website.
