The Training Associates Host Corporate Training Summit
Westborough, MA (USA), October 2011 - The Training Associates, providers of training- delivery solutions and trainers on-demand, have announced their first annual Corporate Training Summit at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel at 75 Felton Street in Marlborough, MA on 16 November 2011, between 7:30-11:30 am.
Staff cuts in the wake of the economic recession have left considerable knowledge gaps in most organizations. Adding corporate expansion to the list, including globalization and the launch of new technologies, products, or services, corporate learning leaders are finally finding their seat at the table. These executives are not only being tasked with developing cost-effective ways to optimize the skills and knowledge of a multi-generational talent pool, but also with mapping their organization's learning needs to their company's overall business objectives.
Featuring industry-leading speakers and networking opportunities, the Corporate Training Summit will provide a forum for training and development corporate leaders to deepen their understanding of
- how, when, and why to implement a variable staffing model for their training department;
- roadblocks to executing successful corporate training programs and how to achieve "buy-in" at all levels of an organization;
- how to create global training programs and curricula adaptable to other countries and cultures; and
- how to instruct learners of different generations and why one training approach does not fit all.
Maria Melfa, President of The Training Associates, says, "We are excited to bring local corporate training leaders together at our Summit. Our speakers are highly regarded in the training / learning industries and offer a wealth of practical information that may become fundamental blueprints for the attendees at the Summit who wish to grow their training model. We condensed the Summit into a half day that will be packed with valuable information and networking opportunities among fellow training professionals. We're very much looking forward to our inaugural event."
