Studyworld 2016 with International Academic Programmes
Berlin (GER), March 2016 - Whether it be an Erasmus semester, internship abroad, or even an international course of study at several different locations, the opportunities to go abroad are numerous. In Berlin on 22-23 April 2016, studyworld 2016, the international fair for higher and continuing education, will provide an overview of the various options for students and prospective students. One of the studyworld 2016 partners is EducationUSA.
The USA, known as the "land of opportunity", lives up to this description when it comes to the variety of study options available: over 4,000 universities provide an assortment of programmes that can be completed as full courses of study, exchange semesters, or summer classes. For 2015, statistics from the Institute of International Education revealed that there were over 10,000 German students at American universities, making the USA the most popular educational destination outside of Europe.
At studyworld 2016, fourteen universities will be represented at the "Education USA" pavilion and will be available to answer any questions about planning and organising a study trip to the USA. At the international exhibition, prospective students will have the opportunity to talk with representatives from, amongst others, large Californian universities, Arizona State University, Berkeley College, and New York University. "Besides study, EducationUSA provides an overview of internships, work and travel, and other gap-year options and helps people make the right decision for their trip to the USA", said Ute Strack from the US embassy.
With over 150 exhibitors, pupils, high-school graduates, young professionals, and university students can find out about bachelor’s and master’s courses in Germany and abroad, international internships, voluntary work abroad, as well as financing, planning, and preparing to attend an American university. Individual discussions are not the only possibility, though. Alongside the extensive range of exhibitors, the exhibition will also be offering around sixty free presentations. On both days, education experts will be providing their audiences with thorough information about possible steps and routes in their studies and careers in Germany and abroad.
