New Suite of eLearning Courses for Action for Children
Belfast (UK), October 2011 - Aurion Learning has been working closely with Action for Children's Learning and Development Team to produce a suite of eLearning programmes. Designed to support Action for Children employees and volunteers develop new skills and competencies, the four eLearning programmes focus on Behaviour Support, Safeguarding, eFinance, and Learning and Development.
Ian Millar, Deputy Director of Human Resources for Action for Children comments, "Our Safeguarding eModule provides staff who are new to Action for Children with foundation knowledge about recognising, reporting, referring, and recording instances of abuse and neglect of children. Behaviour Support guides staff and volunteers through some of the more difficult areas of their job when they are supporting children and young people's behaviour - telling them what they need to record and how to access support if they have a stressful experience."
"Our Learning & Development and eFinance modules teach employees and staff how to use internal systems to book team members onto relevant training and development courses, and to use our online financial application."
Speaking about the new eLearning programmes, Dr. Maureen Murphy, Director of Aurion Learning says, "We first worked with Action for Children to develop Understanding Diversity and Inclusion - a high-impact eLearning programme for staff and volunteers. We're pleased to have been given the chance to continue this successful partnership with Action for Children and hope to work with them again in the future."
