Three-Tier Congress Focusing on Innovation in Dubai
Dubai (UAE), July 2011 - Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University has announced the 2012 edition of its Annual Congress, to be held 30 January - 02 February in Dubai under the theme "Innovation-based Competitiveness". The Congress presents an international platform for three conferences on eLearning excellence, health and environment, and quality management.
Over the years all three conferences have included an international array of thinkers, researchers, experts, and practitioners who presented novel ideas and concepts, demonstrated how original research is supported by evidence-based arguments, shared new concepts, and illustrated best-practice applications in various sectors of the economy.
The sixth Quality Conference is recognized amongst the world top-five events in the quality management discipline. This year's theme, "Innovation-based Competitiveness and Business Excellence", has been crafted to address the recent recession and economic downturn. The topic is timely as innovation is widely quoted as being the "engine for the economy".
The fifth Conference on eLearning Excellence is subtitled "Sustainable Innovation in Education - Capacity Building, Blended Learning and Beyond". The gathering will emphasize innovation and creative approaches to education using all types of technologies available to improve learning and make it more effective.
The theme of the fourth e-Health and Environment Conference under the HBMeU 2012 Annual Congress is entitled "Building an Innovative and Competitive Vision for e-Health and the Environment in the 21st Century". In the current state of high economic pressures, rapidly evolving healthcare technologies, and documented environmental risks, the need for innovative visions has become a priority. Previously implemented strategies fell apart, failing to achieve the desired outcomes. This has resulted in calls for a new vision that takes all factors into account.
Under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and University President, the University seeks to grow the body of knowledge in the region by bringing likeminded people together and stimulating useful exchanges among them.
