Increasing Productivity with Learning Automation
Pasco, WA (USA), April 2012 - Vivid Learning Systems has provided Kittitas Valley Community Hospital (KVCH) with a new training program powered by a robust enterprise learning- management system (LMS), including comprehensive OSHA and healthcare-compliance course libraries.
KVCH decided to improve learning efficiency by automating training tracking and reporting and to facilitate record keeping by storing it all in the cloud. This streamlined solution also allows KVCH's staff-development department to easily schedule and deploy training to the entire organization, thus improving training consistency and compliance tracking.
By leveraging Vivid Learning Systems off-the-shelf Healthcare and OSHA course libraries, KVCH streamlined education, instructor-led course registration, and compliance tracking, which resulted in a blended-learning solution comprised of internally developed training and highly engaging on-demand compliance training, all tracked in the LMS.
Sue Downs, responsible for KVCH staff development, expressed her outlook on the impact of the new program on the organization by stating, "Once employees realize the ease of use the LMS delivers, they will value and appreciate the benefit of switching our LMS program. I believe this new opportunity will inspire employees to seek out and take classes they are not required to take."
