New Director of Sales to Drive International Expansion
Aberdeen (UK), October 2012 - Atlas, the global provider of interactive learning solutions for the energy industry, has announced the appointment of Kevin Short as Director of Sales. He will lead the global sales teams, a new position developed to deliver increased customer support and service to Atlas's expanding business, based from Aberdeen.
Mr Short has 24 years of senior sales leadership and management roles in financial and information technology services, based in New York, London, and Ireland with global blue-chip companies including Pitney Bowes, DX Group, and Chase Manhattan Bank. He is a member of the Institute of Mathematics and Applications and has a BSc. (Hons.) degree in Production and Operations Management.

Mr Short's appointment comes at a time when Atlas has announced the launch of three new translations of its International Minimum Industry Safety Training (IMIST) programme. IMIST is now available in nine languages. Having recently been adopted by LUKOIL, one Russia's biggest oil-business groups, IMIST is to be rolled out to workers in Iraq, ensuring the highest standards of safety in the industry and furthering international growth.
