Mobile Learning

Digital Learning Library for SMEs

London (UK), November 2012 - Skill Pill M-Learning (SPML), a pioneer in mobile learning, has announced the launch of its "Kiosk" service, which provides SMEs with quick and easy self-service access to its library of over 120 Skill Pills. Skill Pills are succinct learning videos designed for mobile devices.

SPML has a content deal with Pearson Education - the world's largest business publisher. SPML also has a partnership agreement with one of the leading global business schools, London Business School, which currently licences the Skill Pill library for their executive participants.

SPML founder Gerry Griffin says, "For the first time, we can provide SMEs on a limited budget easy access to leading thinkers such as Ken Blanchard and Lynda Gratton. Furthermore, we repurpose this content to make it easily accessible on all mobile and PC devices. Our goal is to help small and mid-sized organisations boost business performance using our content and tools."

"Skill Pill M-Learning products have so far generally only been available to large international organisations such as Dell, Tesco, Lufthansa, and Save the Children. With the new 'Kiosk', we can now provide organisations on limited budgets access to a broad choice of business-skills support such as sales effectiveness, team building, and client focus."

Recent government statements have highlighted the importance of placing greater emphasis on training in the workplace, with UK PM David Cameron urging SMEs to focus on "basic skills, rigorous courses, practical experience..."
