Redsource Set to Revolutionise Workforce Mobilisation
Leamington Spa (UK), November 2012 - At the World of Learning and Apps World conferences, Redware, a provider of learning and mobile solutions, launched its Redsource mobile application management platform. Its mission is to help organisations take workforce mobilisation to the next level.
"We envisage this new, flexible platform being used by those forward-thinking organisations that are pursuing workforce mobilisation. Within learning and development there is a huge opportunity to significantly evolve mobile learning using Redsource," said CEO Andre Wigley at the World of Learning show.
"We've overcome technical challenges and incorporated the mix of features, security, reporting, and delivery that people have been asking for. We're showing people how it works and why; we're dispelling myths," Wigley added.
"The launch is an advance in the 'Redware revolution'", concluded Wigley. "It is incredibly exciting. We are committed to providing awesome service to our customers - and we are convinced this will change the way people benefit from mobile in the workplace. It is going to be very rewarding to see the fruits of our labour in action. And, for our customers, it gives them the next step in continuing their own revolution - making them the innovator."
The product launch created a massive buzz on the Redware stand at both World of Learning and Apps World, with global brands, authoring firms, and resellers eager to find out about the Redsource mobile application management platform and how Redware has managed to combine every single aspect of a MAM platform that users have been searching for.
"The product can change the way companies do business," said Davoc Bradley, Head of Mobile at Redware. "It enables them to implement a -˜bring your own device' service across networks of any size or nature - and to create powerful enterprise applications and then deploy them with ease. Redsource has a real focus on security, enabling lockdown of enterprise applications if the security on a device is breached. There are intuitive leaver-management features and other powerful features including a full quality-assurance and sign-off process for apps and content and a software development kit (SDK). Redsource enables companies to create, deploy, and manage highly secure mobile applications; security is integrated into every aspect of Redsource."
"Having read about Redsource in the press in the lead-up to the shows, company decision-makers made a beeline for the Redware stand to ask the all-important technical questions - and to grab one of Redware's iconic Redsource-branded sauce bottles! With the Redware team on hand to demonstrate the Redsource MAM platform, people left saying that they had found exactly the solution they had been searching for," added Bradley.
He also believes that Redsource will forever change the mobile application management marketplace: "Redsource provides the solution to many commonly anticipated problems. Users are freed up to maintain full control of their own devices, while the company has the powerful security they expect to see in place to protect their business data, it makes 'mobile device management' a thing of the past."
Redsource is already being implemented in Jaguar Land Rover's impressive dealer network. Jaguar Land Rover will be using the platform to distribute content globally across many job roles, initially to some 6000 devices and shortly after to deliver mobile applications to a far larger network. "This solution means that sales people will always have the latest information at hand on portable devices, so customers always get the most up-to-date information available to them," said Dr Adrian Birch, Training Technologies, Jaguar Land Rover.
