Version 1.1 of LINEstream Has Been Launched
London (UK), April 2013 - LINE Communications, a European provider of learning and communications solutions, has announced the release of version 1.1 of LINEstream, its mobile enterprise platform. As part of the roadmap of development, this version sees two key new features.
New shared media library: In addition to its app cloning option comes the ability to centrally manage, share, and reuse all media assets. The media library offers clients the capability to upload, share, and label media assets, allowing them to be reused by all authors across all their app projects and keep apps updated as new media becomes available.
Full localisation support: The new version allows LINEstream’s clients to develop apps in twelve languages, including Czech, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese Brazilian, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. This ensures that multinational clients can support their users across the globe.
In addition to these innovations, the new version also provides a range of other enhancements such as improved in-app update notifications, enhanced gesture management, and improvements to Android publishing.
Paul Brown, LINE’s Technical Director says, “This is very exciting. It’s our first major release since the launch of LINEstream, and we are delighted to be able to offer our customers this new and improved functionality. We have a comprehensive development roadmap in place, and we look forward to being able to offer our clients even more great features during the course of this year.
