Learning Nexus Expands with New Marketing Department
Stroud (UK), October 2013 - The summer saw lots of exciting changes for eLearning provider Learning Nexus. Not only did they acquire Safety4Business, a leading health-and-safety- training company, but the workforce also expanded, with new employees in Marketing and a new Learning & Development manager. This now takes the number of employees up to twenty five. The new positions will enable the company to deliver even more quality eLearning products and services in the UK and overseas.
Helen Mawson joins Learning Nexus as an experienced marketer, having worked in various roles in both the public and private sectors and more recently as a consultant. Helen particularly enjoys working on strategic development and in the area of social marketing in influencing buyer behaviour.
Cheryl Wright joins the organisation in Marketing and Communications. She holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of the West of England, specialising in Marketing. Her experience expands a variety of industries in both public and private-sector organisations, and in recent years, Cheryl has undertaken various marketing roles in the education and local-government sector.
Sarah Keates joins the organisation with a wealth of experience in the education and development field. She will be managing a diverse team consisting of creative course designers. Having worked in learning and development within the financial services sector for twelve years, she wanted to move completely into the eLearning field. Her current focus is on developing the NEBOSH courses, which will be released in spring 2014. In the future, Sarah would like to focus on continuing to introduce new and exciting ways to deliver eLearning to engage learners and drive increased pass rates and information retention.
