One Hour Translation Launched in the UK
London (UK), March 2014 - One Hour Translation, the world's fastest professional translation agency, has launched its UK operations. One Hour Translation provides high-quality human translation of 75 languages and over 2,500 language pairs, thanks to a community of 15,000 active professional translators from 100 countries.
The UK launch sees the company focussing efforts and resources in providing dedicated customer service and account management to UK companies. Having enjoyed considerable success in North America, where it provides services to over half the Fortune 500, Japan, Germany and other countries, One Hour Translation has chosen to target the UK market due to the large number of multinational companies situated here.
Commenting on the UK launch, Ofer Shoshan, CEO of One Hour Translation said, "One Hour Translation already has strategic UK customers, but we are pleased to be entering the UK market officially. The UK presents strong opportunities due to the abundance of professional industries and the melting pot of languages owing to its international status. One Hour Translation is by far the fastest human translation service available, and through our technological innovation we are able to provide high-quality translations to businesses in the UK."
One Hour Translation already has a number of UK customers including Morgan Stanley, Ladbrokes, The Royal Navy, and Virgin Media. The UK is an exciting growth market, where the translation industry is estimated to be worth £1.2bn per year.
With seventy percent of global internet users not native English speakers, a business can benefit substantially from addressing international customers, e.g. by localising their websites. A recent study by One Hour Translation study found that 69% of websites that localised their content to other languages reported up to a ten-time increase in sales from the relevant countries.
One Hour Translation, whose online model has changed and disrupted the professional translation service industry, provides several unique features, including a countdown timer showing when the translation will be ready and direct communication between the customer and the translator. The human element ensures speed, efficiency and quality of service. Globally the business completes tens of thousands of translation projects a month, with global clients including Coca Cola, Shell and IBM.
