GuyKat Deal Aims to Disrupt UK eLearning Market
Naples (I) / Birmingham (UK), April 2014 - Birmingham-based GuyKat Solutions Ltd has signed an exclusive UK and Ireland partnership agreement with Docebo SPA, a global eLearning software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions provider. This is a key milestone in the growth plans of both businesses, with Docebo further establishing its presence in the UK market and GuyKat deepening its solution offering to UK-based companies.
GuyKat’s Managing Director, Guy McEvoy, said, "We’re on the cusp of an explosion in the use of eLearning in the workplace. All serious organisations invest in people, but the reality is that classroom training is expensive and inefficient. People see the benefit of adding eLearning but too often have been put off by poor-quality content and the perceived costs of doing it well.
"We’re ripping up those perceptions. Docebo is the right product at the right time. It’s a cloud-based SaaS solution, and it combines ease of use with enterprise-grade features at a fraction of the traditional cost. The pricing model means that while it’s already a no-brainer for large organisations, we’re now making this type of capability affordable to the SME market. We’re privileged to bring this game-changer to the UK and Ireland."
Docebo founder and CEO Claudio Erba added, "Docebo is globally disrupting the eLearning market by replacing the old 'eLearning-project' legacy with a new, agile, and affordable 'eLearning service'. This service is accessible and can be tailored for both mid-sized and large companies within minutes. The partnership with GuyKat Solutions Ltd is an unprecedented opportunity for UK-based companies to access a comprehensive solution that offers a fully featured eLearning ecosystem.
"This step forward is enhanced by the recent launch of Docebo’s 6.2 product version and pricing plan since we’ve now made our Enterprise Cloud solution available. It runs the learning-management system (LMS) on an isolated cloud single-tenant instance and gives access to a package of apps. Our Instructor-Led Training (ILT) Classroom app enables superior service delivery and cost-effective investment while leveraging the benefits and flexibility of a pure SaaS Solution."
