Docebo Named in the Learning-Portal-Companies Watch List
Naples (I), September 2014 - Within days of having been named on the shortlist of this year's eLearning Age Awards in the UK, in the "best learning-management system (LMS) implementation" category, Docebo has also been named on the 2014 Learning-Portal- Companies Watch List.
The list, compiled by the US-based Training Industry Inc, aims to identify the best providers of training services and technologies. Selection to this year's Learning Portal Companies Watch List was based on an organization’s
- breadth of functionality and capabilities
- commitment to the corporate-training market
- industry visibility, innovation, and impact
- number and strength of clients
- geographic reach
Currently, over 650 organizations, many of which are large, global companies, use Docebo’s cloud-based, software-as-a-service (SaaS) eLearning platform to co-ordinate the learning of many thousands of learners belonging to different cultures and living in different time zones. Being a cloud-based SaaS, rather than either an open-source or a legacy system, Docebo’s LMS allows for unlimited numbers of registered users, although customers only pay for the active users during any billing period.
"This year’s Learning-Portal-Companies Watch List illustrates the growth and entrance of many new and upcoming organizations in this segment," said Ken Taylor, Training Industry Inc.’s Chief Operating Officer. "These companies are used by major organizations to successfully support their corporate learning and development initiatives."
"The companies selected for this year’s Watch List show the depth of the learning-portal market, with each exhibiting growth and innovations to enhance the impact of corporate learning," said Doug Harward, Training Industry Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
"It’s an honor to be included on this year’s Learning-Portal-Companies Watch List and be officially recognized as being among the world’s best providers of training services and technologies," said Docebo’s CEO, Claudio Erba.
