Extending Tin Can API Capability
London (UK), December 2014 - Webanywhere has recently partnered with Learning Locker, giving the company the ability to provide its customers with a fully trackable learning solution.
Learning Locker, an open-source learning record store (LRS) for Tin Can / xAPI - sometimes also known as the “Experience API” - can store, sort, and share learning data that has been generated by Tin Can-compliant learning activities. Tin Can API, a new specification for learning technology that allows the tracking of a wide range of online and offline learning experiences, has revolutionised the way organisations track learning activities.
Companies can now get a better understanding of their employees’ learning, assess the impact of their training, and plan their future training programmes more efficiently.
Webanywhere's partnership with Learning Locker builds on their experience as both a Moodle and Totara Platinum Partner.
Conor Gilligan, Head of Workplace Learning at Webanywhere, comments, “We are proud to continue to be at the forefront of the development of new eLearning technologies. Thanks to our partnership with Learning Locker and our ability to implement Tin Can API on their eLearning platforms, our customers can record and track data and get a true picture of their workforce’s learning journey."
More information on how Tin Can API can support trackable learning is available on Webanywhere's Tin Can API blog post.
As a Learning Locker partner, Webanywhere can integrate Tin Can API to each customer's eLearning platform.
