Disruptive Approach to eLearning Content Creation
Paris (F), June 2015 - Solunea has announced the release of version 5 of the authoring tool Thaleia™. This new version offers a disruptive approach to eLearning content creation. Thaleia™ is a toolbox that allows settling the issue of the creation and the diffusion of training modules and eLearning quizzes in few minutes.
Instead of editing each screen one by one, Thaleia™ operates a library of templates and only sets the background, allowing the solution to take on the shaping. Creating an eLearning module or an online quiz is now as simple as filling in an Excel matrix.
Production times are thus reduced from 30% to 90% depending on the project, and as a result of the unique approach, participative production becomes a reality. It’s no longer necessary for business experts to undergo complex training to enable them participate; now they only have to use an Excel file.
Featuring a totally redesigned graphical user interface, this new version comes with major new features:
- a new tool dedicated to the production of "enriched" videos from your videos already online
- an integrated and lightweight solution for publishing and tracking the activity of your online courses without any LMS
- a community area allowing the users to ask questions and to find and discuss solutions.
Available in the cloud, Thaleia™ relies on standards for greater openness:
- The modules can be exported in SCORM standard for importing into an LMS.
- The modules are HTML5 compliant, allowing their use on tablet or mobile devices (mobile learning).
- Tracking and publication are based on xAPI standard through the integrated LRS.
Still easy to work with, even for first-time users, Thaleia™ is available online in English and French. Starting to work with the platform takes only a few seconds.
