EDTRIN Agreement with Torque Recruitment Group
Victoria (AU), June 2015 - EDTRIN Group Ltd has made an agreement with Torque Recruitment Group. The agreement gives EDTRIN access to service the educational and training requirements of Torque's recruitment database of approximately 250,000 candidates, predominantly in Queensland and Western Australia.
Torque Recruitment Group is a privately owned Australian company founded by industry professionals with over thirty years’ experience in recruitment within Australia and overseas.
Its business is focused on providing clients with the highest quality recruitment and selection services leading to optimised productivity and business performance through superior staffing. Torque works across multiple industry sectors, including warehousing, distribution, transport & logistics, engineering, management programs, leadership programs, and all basic administration functions.
David Byrnes, Managing Director and CEO of Torque Recruitment, emphasised the value of the business alliance and commitment with EDTRIN. He said, “Our mantra is quality management of people.
"We understand and respect the individual approach to education that EDTRIN is taking because it has great synergy with our own focus on individuals, their abilities and requirements. Torque takes the time to assess the qualifications and competency of its people to reach a benchmark standard.
"To have the ability to direct a candidate to the appropriate education, licences, up-skilling or re-skilling with EDTRIN is a smart way to strengthen our candidate base and overall client performance."
EDTRIN has a number of agreements in place with Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). After identification of the individual requirements of a candidate, EDTRIN will work with these partners to provide either funded or fee-for-service training. EDTRIN will be paid directly through its RTO partner base.
Further opportunity also exists for EDTRIN and Torque in the areas of consultation and business development focusing on education, training, and further career development.
The EDTRIN agreement with Torque follows EDTRIN’s acquisition of innovative Victorian Communications Technology companies ProjectProject Pty Ltd and learning-management software developer Finpa Australia Pty Ltd. The company’s operational headquarters are located in Singapore, and it also has developmental offices in Melbourne Australia. This places EDTRIN in the educational epicenter of the region, giving it premium entry to target markets in the Asia Pacific, China, Indian Sub-Continent, and Middle East and North African regions.
