Delegates can expect three exciting days that feature five inspiring plenaries, 20+ pre-conference events, and 120+ dynamic, interactive breakout sessions. The programme is accompanied by a diverse and comprehensive exhibition showcasing the latest solutions and innovations in learning.
OEB attendees will hear from a host of international experts and pioneers. They include the writer and independent scholar Audrey Watters; futurist Bryan Alexander; internationally recognised professors and authors Mike Sharples and Paul Kirschner; Rosario Robinson, Women in Tech Evangelist for AnitaB.org; policy shapers and influencers from the Polish and Catalonian Ministries of Education and the Parliament of Germany; L&D leaders from Axa, InterIkea, and Zalando; and many, many more shining lights from the firmament of learning.
"We have received a record number of proposals for the conference sessions and agenda items this year and have already closed the 'Call for Proposals' for 2019. We are currently reviewing all of them to construct an agenda containing everything that is important in learning and educational technology today," explained Astrid Jaeger, Director of OEB.
She added, "OEB is a great way to discuss and keep up to date with the latest innovations, trends, and challenges facing learning and training today. Around 2,500 international learning professionals from over 70 countries will be taking part in OEB 2019."
OEB, incorporating Learning Technologies Germany, is at the forefront of learning and technology developments. It provides delegates with new insights on opportunities and challenges that are changing the world of learning and presents the latest best practices from education and industry. Participants have extensive opportunities to meet, discuss, and network with policy makers, higher education leaders, chief learning officers, technology and learning experts, learning and development professionals, change managers, ICT administrators, online learning curriculum designers and experts and practitioners from a broad range of related fields.
OEB provides an early bird rate for delegates able to book ahead, with €100 off the conference package price available until 15 May.
Astrid Jaeger added, "OEB 2019 is taking place during a challenging, demanding period for everyone involved in organising learning and education. With this firmly in mind, the planning for OEB 2019 is well underway, and we’re looking forward to putting on another great event for learning and edtech professionals."
