Eukleia Launches Revised Courses on Tackling Modern Slavery
London (UK), November 2019 - With Anti-Slavery Day on 18 October serving as a reminder of the 2015 UK Modern Slavery Act, Eukleia, in partnership with Stronger Together, has revised its online training courses on tackling modern slavery to be multi-device compatible.
Eukleia, a global specialist in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) training solutions, has partnered with Stronger Together to re-launch four of its Modern Slavery online training courses.
"We're delighted to launch the refreshed courses to offer a seamless experience across multiple devices. Modern slavery is a reality across the world, and people are deprived of their freedom and exploited," said Jantine Werdmüller von Elgg, Managing Director at Stronger Together. "The eLearning courses provide an opportunity for businesses to take action: to educate and raise awareness amongst their workforce at different levels, being the eyes and ears of the company."
"The original Stronger Together eLearning modules were built using Adobe Flash player, but Adobe has recently confirmed that they will be retiring Flash over the coming months. Given the importance of this training, we wanted to make sure that as many people as possible could continue to access the eLearning," added Rachel Finn, Account Manager at Eukleia. "We worked closely with Stronger Together to update the modules and took this opportunity to refresh the course content."
Four of the modern slavery courses are now fully compatible across multiple devices, including tablet and smartphone, with more scheduled soon. They have been rebuilt using HTML5 in anticipation of browser support for Flash ending in 2020. The courses, all of which can be trialled for free, include
- Tackling Modern Slavery in Businesses – general UK version
- Tackling Forced Labour in Businesses – general version for businesses outside the UK
- Tackling Modern Slavery in the UK – recruiters
- Tackling Modern Slavery in the UK – supervisors
