Valamis, a global leader in digital learning technologies and workforce development, has announced a global strategic partnership with Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning to provide access to the organization’s leadership development content and learning experiences.
Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning’s thought leadership, multiple content modalities, and innovative experience - combined with Valamis’s expertise in digital learning solutions - will accelerate business initiatives aimed at analyzing, predicting, and eliminating skill gaps. Learners will be able to access Harvard ManageMentor®, Harvard ManageMentor® Spark™, and LeadingEdge within the Valamis LXP.
"Working with Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning as a partner, we aim to help businesses leverage technological innovation for new competitive advantages by providing learners with the tools they need to learn, develop, and adapt," said Mika Kuikka, President and Co-Founder of Valamis.
Disruptive innovation, the industrial internet, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, robotics, machine learning, and other innovations are spurring skill gaps and changing the future of work. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that 1.4 million jobs will be disrupted between now and 2026. As technology fundamentally changes the workplace, business-critical roles will change, and companies will need to reskill the workforce with strong learning initiatives in order to remain competitive.
In a recent survey by Valamis, 96% of employees and executives believe it is important for their organization’s future success to continually update the knowledge and skills of employees. Furthermore, according to LinkedIn’s 2019 Workforce Learning Report, 94% of employees would stay at a company longer if the company invested in helping them learn.
"Success in the future of work will be determined by how well talent is driving disruption and execution through increasing complexity and on a global scale. To ensure organizations have the leaders they need to succeed, they must provide highly personalized and contextualized experiences, embedded in the flow of work. We already provide the most credible and trustworthy thought leadership and learning experiences available in the market, and we believe Valamis has created an innovative platform that will help us connect more learners around the world to learning experiences that will close their skills gaps and drive growth for their organizations," said Ian Fanton, senior vice president and head of Corporate Learning at Harvard Business Publishing.
Content is curated with Valamis’s state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, which makes content relevant to each individual based on a variety of factors, including their interests, role, experience, learning behaviors, and business initiatives set by the organization to target growth. The solution provides learners with on-the-go mobile access to blended learning paths with lessons from Harvard Business Publishing and the ability for learners to create their own content in Valamis’s Lesson Studio.
