Partnership to Connect a Growing Workforce
Cornwall (UK), February 2020 - Clothing brand Seasalt Cornwall is partnering with Fuse Universal to connect its growing workforce with social learning and expert knowledge when they need it. Cornish clothing brand Seasalt is growing - the family-run brand has 67 retail stores across the UK and Ireland, as well as 400 wholesale stockists and has reported over 20% year-on-year growth for the last nine consecutive years.
Last year the company secured £16m in investment to support future growth and development in the business.
A vital part of their growth strategy is to reduce the barriers to learning for their 1000 plus employees, and accelerate omni-channel growth to meet their ambitious growth targets.
Seasalt is working with Fuse Universal to connect its rapidly growing workforce with digital, social and user-centric learning experiences in order to
- develop self-directed high-performance teams with the confidence and knowledge of how Seasalt supports its customers, suppliers, community, and the environment
- support learning through a socially enabled platform that allows employees to access and share learning content with peers and subject matter experts
- drive customer satisfaction through knowledge consistency across the company by enabling improved communication and supporting blended learning approaches
Paul Hayes, CEO of Seasalt, commented, "We want to see our employees develop at Seasalt, beyond Seasalt, and in the communities Seasalt supports. The Fuse platform provides them with access to self-directed and socially enabled learning, as well as more efficient ways to collaborate and communicate.
"The technology from Fuse, alongside our cultural evolution, is giving our rapidly growing workforce the ability to bring our values to life."
