Learning and communications platform provider 5App is bolstering its senior team with new Head of Product and Head of Operations hires.
Mobile, web, and learning management veteran Duncan Barrett is 5App's new Head of Product. With more than 18 years' experience developing products for web and mobile, Duncan's role is to drive product strategy at 5App. Duncan brings learning technology expertise and product management discipline and vision, having worked previously for Lumesse, Saba, and Cornerstone.
Digital learning expert Aby Reynolds has joined the startup as Head of Operations. Aby is tasked with helping the 5App team continue to scale their platform and support their customers with a growing Customer Success function. Her ten years' experience in the digital learning space includes stints at Fuse Universal, Brightwave, and American Express.
The 5App Digital Hub is a cloud-based, rapidly deployed, and easy-to-use communications and learning platform. Aptly, despite being hired remotely during a global pandemic, Aby's and Duncan's onboardings were smooth and successful, testament to the Hub's strengths of driving employee engagement and learning culture, even in remote working environments.
Stuart Mason, 5App CEO, said, "We're proud to be building the 5App team, despite trying economic times. Between them, Duncan and Aby bring seasoned sector experience, product vision, and operational prowess. They are fantastic additions to the team. Their appointments will help us to continue to develop the 5App Digital Hub as a learning and communications platform, built to support the future of work by helping our customers' workforces adapt to challenging times."
