Enhancing End-User Proficiency

King of Prussia (USA), March 2006 -” OnDemand Software, a division of Global Knowledge, announced that the company has joined the Mercury Alliance Program. Mercury Interactive Corporation, the global leader in business technology optimization (BTO) software, is a provider for the alliance program for technology and software vendors that offer complementary products to help customers optimize the business outcomes of IT. In addition, Mercury has validated the integration of OnDemand Personal Navigator with Mercury Quality Center™.

The Mercury Alliance Program provides the flexibility to integrate the Mercury Quality Center with other solutions, such as OnDemand Personal Navigator, the company's flagship learning platform that supports all implementation phases for enterprise software applications. Integrating OnDemand Personal Navigator with Mercury Quality Center will enable customers to capture all transactional business processes, publish all of their procedures as Test Documents, and export the Test Documents as manual tests into Mercury Quality Center. Recognizing OnDemand Software as a Premier Partner, Mercury has validated the successful integration with OnDemand Personal Navigator.

Mercury Quality Center allows customers to automate software quality management across a wide range of application environments, provide visibility of quality projects, and align the priorities of quality assurance professionals with the requirements of the business.

"Enterprise application deployments are on the rise. A critical step in the project implementation lifecycle is testing the proficiency of end users. Our alliance with Mercury enables us to further enhance OnDemand Personal Navigator to support the testing phase through Mercury Quality Center's advanced testing software, saving our customers time and money," said Chris Pickett, chief strategy officer at OnDemand Software. "Thorough and accurate testing ensures that employees will fully leverage the benefits and drive ROI for enterprise software investments, and that deployments will run smoothly and efficiently. Working with Mercury underscores our ongoing commitment to make certain that customers obtain the highest value possible from deployments of enterprise software."

The integration of OnDemand Personal Navigator reduces test plan development time by allowing test developers to capture steps automatically and accurately, thus eliminating many of the errors found when developing manual tests. In addition, OnDemand Personal Navigator's flexibility allows recorded transactions to be republished to support other phases of the project lifecycle, such as training and post "go-live" performance support.
