L&D Work and Salary Survey Opens
London (UK), November 2023 - Blue Eskimo’s annual assessment of pay and working conditions in learning and development has opened and will report in the New Year.
The company is looking for people working in L&D to participate in its Workplace & Salary Survey 2023. All participants in this year's Survey will be sent a report of the key insights and will have a chance to win a £400 Apple voucher. The survey only takes about five minutes, and every response helps.
The last twelve months in the L&D and learning technologies sector have been challenging. With a stagnant economy affecting spend on L&D services and L&D budgets being squeezed, this is in contrast to the boom years of 2021 and 2022.
The survey will shed light on how this has affected salaries and workplace sentiment in L&D, along with several other factors, including confidence in L&D levels for 2024.
Nick Bate from Blue Eskimo, publisher of the annual Workplace and Salary Report, said, "Regardless of the economic climate, there are always lots of things to consider before you make a job move. However, when times are tough, it's critical to do your research on the company you are looking to move to and look at the company finances: Are they stable and in a good position for growth? What is the culture and staff turnover like? If possible, reach out to existing or former employees and ask their opinions - and be sure you ask plenty of questions during the hiring process to make sure the role is a good fit for your life and values, not just your wallet!"
If career progression is important to you, are there opportunities within your current organisation? Make sure that your future career plans are not only clear to you, but also to your current employer - so you don't miss out.
