Udemy Announces New Regional Hub in Mexico to Support Global Expansion
San Francisco, CA (USA), October 2024 - Udemy, a leading online skills marketplace and learning platform, has announced its plans to open a new office in Mexico City, Mexico. In response to the significant demand for personalized learning across Latin America (LATAM), the office will help Udemy better serve its growing base of over 1,000 customers currently in the region. The Mexico City office will also enable Udemy to scale operations, enabling the faster delivery of personalized, high-quality learning experiences to meet the evolving needs of organizations and professionals.
The new office in Mexico City represents a key milestone in the company's growth and follows the recent appointment of Bruno Barreto as Udemy's Vice President of Sales for LATAM. Barreto is responsible for leading all go-to-market strategy and operational aspects of Udemy in the region as well as continuing to develop and scale teams to enhance learning experiences.
