Joe Hill-WilsonLondon (UK), December 2024 - Learn Amp has announced that founder Duncan Cheatle moves from CEO to Executive Chairman. Effective immediately, Joe Hill-Wilson, currently Chief Commercial Officer and co-founder, will take over as CEO.

Cheatle stated: "As founder I’ve been lucky enough to work with an incredibly talented leadership and broader team and now is the right time to pass on the baton."
"I will stay strategically involved but with a focus more on achieving our long-term vision and less on the day to day running of the business."
"Joe has all the right credentials to take this role on. He understands the industry back to front and has the full trust of our employees, customer base and partners."
"I know alongside Matt Jeffries, Richard Larcombe, our other co-founders and rest of the leadership team the business is in very good hands as we enter an exciting new phase of our journey."

Joe Hill-Wilson has a fifteen-year career in L&D and was part of the founding team of four. He’s been the face of the business from the start, leading not just on sales but in developing Learn Amp's unique culture and approach to customer service.
Joe was a key advocate of Learn Amp becoming a B Corp, the first of its kind globally, a move that showed our commitment to good governance and positive impact on planet, community and our people.

Hill-Wilson stated: "I’m humbled to be taking on this role. Duncan has done a fantastic job as our CEO and founder. I look forward to building on our incredible successes to date."
"2025 is an important year for our customers as they face challenges adapting to the great skills reshuffle, embedding AI into every day work practices and the heightened importance in proving L&D’s worth and ROI in challenging economic conditions."
"I’m excited for how Learn Amp will deliver for customers and against our vision of aligning employees and organisations to grow better together, and with that making work life, work better!"
