LPI appoints Dr Ashwin Mehta as Chief AI Strategist
London (UK), December 2024 - The Learning and Performance Institute (LPI) has announced the appointment of Dr. Ashwin Mehta MBA FLPI as Chief AI Strategist. In this role, Mehta will lead the LPI's efforts to research, apply, and educate on artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities across the learning, performance, and talent industries.
With a diverse career including scientific research in chemistry and digital learning, senior practitioner experience in strategic risk, and 12 years' experience in designing & implementing technology transformations, Mehta also holds an MBA & PhD in technology implementation and adoption (decision models, cross-cultural statistical modelling, & digital learning), eight industry awards for his work, and two fellowships.
Mehta's work with the LPI will support organisations to improve human performance as they face disruptive learning technologies, demystify artificial intelligence and data analytics, and provide strategies, frameworks, guidance, and consultancy for AI skills development and deployment.
