Richmond-upon-Thames (UK), January 2009 - At this year's Learning Technologies exhibition, Giunti Labs will be offering previews of learn eXact Enterprise, the latest version of its learning-content-management system (LCMS). Visitors to Giunti Labs' stand can 'test drive' this state-of-the-art LCMS while enjoying guidance from its developers.
Learning Technologies, held at London's Olympia on 28 - 29 January, 2009, focuses on 'next-generation learning at work' and will provide examples of how technology-supported learning is crucial to business performance and success.
The LCMS, which is highly scalable both 'vertically' and 'horizontally', is entirely SOA based. This allows services to be activated, de-activated, or swapped with client-preferred services without impacting on overall platform performance. The flexibility permits organisations to both extend the system's functions, as required, and protect their investment by having a 'future-proof' LCMS.
Andrea Gentili, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Giunti Labs, explains, "Within learn eXact Enterprise, one server manages the client's different communities, dividing them into different domains, and allows users access on an enterprise-level or a project-by-project basis. Changes in content are tracked at browser level to save and ensure consistency, while learner data can be sent to managers or directly fed into ERP systems."

As with any Giunti Labs' system, learn eXact Enterprise's authoring application works well with learning standards, such as SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, AICC, and IMS. To simplify the authoring procedure, learn eXact Enterprise includes a set of pre-loaded learning object models (LOMs), which enable instructional designers and authors to program complex templates in their preferred scripting language - such as XSL, Flash™, Java™, or C#.
