Australia Invests $ 5.3 Million for eLearning Innovation
Brisbane (AU), April 2010 - More than 140 projects around Australia have been awarded a share of AU$ 5.3 million to develop innovative eLearning training solutions in 2010. The funding and support, provided by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework, assists registered training organisations (RTOs) to develop innovative eLearning solutions to better support the training needs of businesses and individuals.
This year's eLearning innovations projects will focus on either
- supporting business-training provider partnerships that can drive the integration of eLearning into business and training or
- empowering learners through projects that target the needs of individuals in the community or existing and future students of the RTO.
Projects were selected on their ability to support identified state and territory training priorities. Successful projects are currently undertaking project inductions, and profiles of all projects summarising the focus of their work in 2010 will be available from the middle of May.
A summary of the selected projects in each state and territory is available online.
