Cisco Business Architect Program
Wokingham (UK)/ San Jose, CA (USA), June 2010 - Global Knowledge has announced a training program to help Cisco partners develop the new Business Architect role that was recently announced at the Cisco Partner Summit by Keith Goodwin, Cisco Senior Vice President. The program teaches Cisco partners to develop scalable and sustainable Cisco architecture practices.
Global Knowledge proactively developed the Business Architect Program, which employs robust enterprise business architecture, business analysis, and a business-process consulting curriculum to transform talented Cisco Channel Partner Account Managers into Business Architects. Cisco pledged to co-fund 75% of the training cost for eligible Cisco partners for a limited time.
"We are deeply committed to enabling Cisco's channel partners to develop the skills needed to evolve and grow in the current market, and we are proud to have worked closely with Cisco on this project for the last twelve months", says Brian K. Branson, Global Knowledge President and Chief Executive Officer. "We look forward to providing Cisco partners with a competitive advantage by enabling them to support their customers' desire to strategically align business processes with emerging technologies."
The Business Architect Program provides partners with the knowledge and skills to clearly articulate the business relevance of Cisco's architectural solutions and to uncover business transformation opportunities for their customers.
"We've created a cohesive program that provides partners with skills that drive real and sustainable individual and organizational change", says Ali Hawksworth, Global Knowledge Worldwide Cisco Business Development Director. "We are uniquely positioned to deliver this complex change program because of our comprehensive curriculum of technical, sales, business architecture, business analysis, and business-process consulting coupled with our Cisco Learning Solutions Partner status."
