A Journey from Onboarding to Embedding Learning

Birmingham (UK), July 2020 - Aker BioMarine's vision was to embed a learning and sharing culture within the company, starting with an onboarding process for their employees. With limited internal technical capacity, they needed the expertise of GuyKat's award-winning learning management system (LMS) team to implement that vision and provide tailored ongoing support.

The case study, available on GuyKat's website, explores one of the essential issues in today's learning and development sector: how to make learners engaged and want to contribute to learning themselves. As with any system or behavioural change at work, the three elements to project success are the people, the process, and the technology. By partnering with GuyKat, a value-added Docebo reseller, Aker BioMarine have addressed the technology piece, freeing up internal resources to concentrate on the other components.

Jack Rixon, eLearning Support Analyst at GuyKat, who was heavily involved in this project, said, "It was a pleasure working with Silje Gasser Meuche, Learning and Development Manager at Aker Biomarine, and the team to create a great learning experience for their employees. They had great ideas, which allowed us to push Docebo as far as it could go. I'm really happy with the result!"
