Kallidus Hires Sainsbury's Learning-Tech Specialist Daniel Megson
Cirencester (UK), November 2020 - Kallidus, an industry leading provider of learning and talent management solutions, has appointed Daniel Megson as Commercial Product Manager to drive forwards the vision and roadmap of its integrated learning and performance platforms.
Daniel's primary focus will be Kallidus' next-generation learning experience platform (LXP) and the further development of the Kallidus solution to empower employees to continuously interact with curated, personalised content and colleagues, while extending learning opportunities and enabling learning in the flow of work. Daniel will also be working closely with Kallidus' strategic partner Microsoft to create a strong integration with Teams.
Daniel will be joining Kallidus from Sainsbury's, where he has held the position of Learning Technology Solutions Specialist. Daniel has been responsible for spearheading Sainsbury's technology agenda and for managing and developing the organisation's digital infrastructure. He played a key role in the procurement and implementation of Kallidus' learning platform across the enterprise.

The Award recognised the huge impact Kallidus has had on Sainsbury's digital learning transformation journey, creating a world-class training experience for 145,000 staff across more than 600 supermarkets and 815 convenience stores, and significantly improving resource efficiencies. The judges were impressed by how the Kallidus platform "enabled staff working hours to be released back into the organisation, enabling Sainsbury's to focus even more effort on delivering a first-class customer service."
