Ian Wheelans Joins Thrive as Head of Customer Success
London (UK), February 2024 - Thrive, one of the fastest-growing learning platform providers, is delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Wheelans as their new Head of Customer Success. With a wealth of industry expertise starting client-side and then gaining 15 years of experience at organisations such as Pluralsight, Degreed, and Mind Tools, Ian is poised to take Thrive's Customer Success Team and Impact Initiatives to new heights.
Ian Wheelans brings a proven track record of success in the learning technology industry to Thrive. Having been a customer himself, his understanding of client needs, coupled with his drive for innovative solutions, will be instrumental in continuing to enhance the overall customer experience and drive long-term success for Thrive's clients, which include global enterprise companies such as Volvo, Frasers Group, Vodafone, and more.

As well as Ian, Thrive welcomes an addition to their Account Director team, Michael Main. Michael joins with ten years’ experience in learning technology and Client Services, starting at Mind Tools and progressing through his career at Learning Pool, D2L, and Learn Amp.
Michael will be key to optimising customers' investments in Thrive products and will collaborate with key stakeholders to secure the best-value offering whilst keeping customers up to date with the latest new products and platform feature releases.
Furthermore, Thrive announces the addition of a new Partnership team: Cheryl Miles and Pete Marnoch, both of whom join Thrive from Docebo.
Cheryl and Pete will be building on the great network of partners Thrive has for both their platform and content solutions and striving to enter new markets and integrate even further with different software vendors.
In addition to new recruitment, Thrive is proud to announce several internal promotions within its Customer Team:
- Leanne Ainsworth has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer - With her dedication and strategic vision, Leanne will play a pivotal role in guiding Thrive's operational excellence.
- Ashley Parker has been promoted to Head of Client Services - Ashley's commitment to exceeding client expectations and his strong ability to lead complex customer projects makes him the ideal candidate for this new role within Thrive.
- Dominique Sinclair has been promoted to Implementation Squad Lead - Dominique's exceptional technical skills and dedication to delivering impactful launches will ensure the go-live process is seamless and successful across all new Thrive clients.
