Success of PwC's Partnership with Sponge Recognised with Three Awards
Bristol (UK), September 2024 - Sponge is proud to announce that its client PwC has won multiple Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards in the 2024 Human Capital Management program. These prestigious awards recognise best practices for initiatives in learning and development, talent management, leadership development, and other key areas of human capital management.
PwC demonstrated outstanding success with their "Working Together: Dispersed audit teams" program, earning three distinct honours:
- Gold award in the Best Learning Programme Supporting a Change Transformation Business Strategy category
- Gold award for Best Custom Content
- Silver award for Best Competencies and Skill Development
Josh Cardoz, CCLO at Sponge said, "We are delighted to see our collaboration with PwC be recognised with such an honour, and it's great validation of something we truly believe in here at Sponge: that when we take a strategic view of how learning can impact real business challenges and build an authentic partnership committed to true business transformation, it leads to impactful programmes of work that are as effective as they are engaging. We are thrilled to see the hard work put in by our collective teams be recognised in such a way."
PwC's "Working Together" program was developed in response to the evolving nature of audit work, in which teams are increasingly dispersed across various locations, countries, and time zones. The program aims to maintain PwC's high standards of quality while adapting to this new business model.
Sponge collaborated with PwC to create a best-in-class global digital learning solution that emphasises the importance of empathy and human connection in supporting quality within the audit process. The mandatory learning program, rolled out in June 2023, targets thousands of PwC auditors across the network of member firms.
"Excellence Award recipients have consistently demonstrated their commitment to employee growth and wellbeing through innovative human capital strategies. These organizations have implemented HCM programs that drive outstanding business results and create a positive and empowering work environment. Our rigorous evaluation process has confirmed these programs as industry leading in their effectiveness and impact on employee satisfaction," said Brandon Hall Group Chief Operating Officer Rachel Cooke, HCM Excellence Awards program leader.
Entries were evaluated by a panel of independent veteran senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts, and executives based on criteria including alignment to business needs, program design and delivery, adoption and integration, and overall effectiveness and measurable benefits.
Excellence Award winners will be honored at Brandon Hall Group's HCM Excellence Conference, 28-30 Jan 2025, at the Hilton West Palm Beach, Florida.
