Offering Non-ICT Students a Pathway to High Demand Roles
Sydney (AUS), November 2019 - DDLS, one of Australia’s largest providers of corporate ICT and cybersecurity training, has introduced a course in cybersecurity that will take students with no ICT background to three internationally recognised cybersecurity certifications in less than six months.
New Mobile Game Helps Corporates Combat Corruption
Plymouth (UK), October 2019 - Sponge have launched training to ensure employee compliance with anti-bribery legislation. Based on the UK Bribery Act 2010 and international principles, the learning game helps organisations to combat corruption and protect their corporate reputation. Orlando, FL (USA), May 2019 - University of Virginia prevailed over nine other finalist teams to win the 2019 National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition and its coveted Alamo Cup. The championship was held in Orlando, 23-25 April, and featured the national competition's top ten college and university teams. The winning team successfully protected the network of a fictional agriculture firm specializing in cryopreservation, crop research and development, and sustainable farming. The fictional company sustained multiple attacks orchestrated by ethical hackers using the same tactics and techniques as real-world bad actors.
